The bylaws, which follow herein, include expands descriptions of The International Church Of The Foursquare Gospel Jamaica governance policies, board organizational structure, and pertinent policies and procedures to enable the board and the administration to implement our commission to serve the Jamaica Foursquare Churches.
The Foursquare Church in Jamaica is a body of believers who have voluntarily come together under the guidance of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel to propagate and dis- seminate the religious principles embraced in the Foursquare Gospel as set forth in the Declara- tion of Faith, compiled by founder, Aimee Semple McPherson. Such guidance is rendered by the Foursquare Global Council, the Foursquare Regional Council and the Foursquare Mission- ary appointed to the Caribbean region.
The Foursquare Church in Jamaica is interdenominational in spirit, evangelical in message and international in project.
Our declaration of faith sets forth our fundamental beliefs, and incorporates the four major phases of the Foursquare gospel presenting Jesus Christ as: the Saviour of the world, the Baptizer with the Holy Ghost, the Healer of our sickness, and the coming King.
We actively seek to reach people who are in need of the message of the Kingdom of God as well as impact their lives through the sharing of the Word of God and practical ministry as guided by the Holy Spirit.
We train, equip and support individuals of all ages to fulfill their God given purposes in their choice of ministry. We also strive for high stewardship of the resources God as entrusted in our care in order to advance the Kingdom of God.
