Lighthouse of International Foursquare Evangelism (L.I.F.E.) Bible College is one of the educational entities affiliated the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel (ICFG) in Jamaica. The institution’s mission is to offer a strong online Christian higher education programme where students can pursue learning that equips them to carry the light and message of the gospel beyond the walls of the church.
L.I.F.E. Bible College started as the principal training institute for pastors and ministers in the Foursquare Church in Jamaica. The College has over the years welcomed students from other denominations who preach, teach and believe the infallibility of the scriptures.
L.I.F.E. Bible College first opened its doors in 1963 with six (6) students and offered a 3-year ministerial diploma under the leadership of the then missionary to Jamaica, the Reverend Joseph Knapp. Following the first graduation in 1967, the programme was upgraded to a 4–year undergraduate degree programme.
Today we offer an online Associate of Arts programme in Biblical Studies with emphasis on interdisciplinary skills and competencies would strengthen the pull for students since as graduates, they would be more marketable and relevant to the 21st century ministry and marketplace.
We also offer short courses for continuing education for previously trained ministers and provided the opportunity for basic/initial training for new ministers.
