The general power of administration of the Foursquare Church in Jamaica is vested in the Board of Directors headed by the President.
Our churches are divided into Districts based on geographical location and are headed by District Supervisors who provide guidance.
Reverend Richard Davis
President Foursquare Jamaica
The Reverend Richard Davis is currently the President (same as Bishop) of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, Jamaica and sits on the Pastoral team at the Cassia Park Foursquare Church.
Richard, the son of an Ordained Minister, the late Reverend Reuben Davis, grew up in the Foursquare Church all his life and developed a love for God and people in general. Reverend Davis is a humble individual, who believes that every child of God must exhibit undaunted Christ-like character, good ethical practices, high morals, and principles.
He is guided by the Scriptures:
“ Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” [Proverbs 3:5-6]; and “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me”. [Philippians 4:13].
It was evident from childhood that he had an ambition to preach the inerrant Word of God and to worship the Lord with the use of instruments. The latter has been manifested beautifully as he is an accomplished keyboard player, who uses the instruments to foster and enhance sweet melodies for his Master’s glory.
Richard accepted the Lord as his personal Saviour and was baptized at the age of twelve [12] years. He was also called by the Lord to begin ministering to his peers. This he did with great enthusiasm as he participated in short exhortations at Sunday School, Children’s Church, Children’s Crusade and Youth Meetings. During his teenage years he also served in the capacity of Youth President. All of these activities embedded, prepared, and propelled him to become, and to be, the possessor of an all-rounded personality.
Reverend Davis officially became a Lay Minister in 2005, and in 2015, was Ordained a Minister of Religion within the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel in Jamaica. During the period 2005 to present, he has served as National Youth Director, Member of the By-law Committee, District Supervisor, Member of the (ICFG) Board of Directors, and National Men’s President.
Reverend Richard Davis is a Graduate of Life Bible College with a Diploma in Theology and Certificate in Discipleship and Leadership Training (DLT). He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Ministry at The New International University (TNIU) in Washington United States of America
He has been serving his local church and Organization with great humility, astute commitment, and unwavering fervour.
He is married to Tanessia and together they have parented a beautiful daughter, Amelia.
Rev. Devon Williams
Vice President
Reverend Devon Williams is the Senior Pastor of the Bagnold Spring Foursquare Church in St. Mary.
As a young man, he grew up in the Bagnold Spring Church, following in the footsteps of his father, Reverend Henry Williams. He was saved and baptized by Rev. Norman McCalla in 1979. Since then, he has served in various roles, including Group Leader, Youth President, District Supervisor, and has assisted with the ministry at the Montreal Foursquare Gospel Church.
Reverend Devon Williams completed the Ambassadors Series course at Life Bible College, graduating and serving on several committees within the organization. He was later installed as Pastor of the White Hall Foursquare Gospel Church, where he served for over seven years.
Following the passing of his father, he was elected by the board as Camp Director and Pastor of Bagnold Spring Church. In 2024, at the 54th Annual National Convention, he was elected Vice President of the International Church Jamaica.
Though not a full-time minister, Reverend Devon Williams operates an electronics store and is a licensed transportation operator under the Maxi Tours Association in the tourism industry. Additionally, he has served as a Justice of the Peace in the parish of St. Mary since 2015.
Reverend Devon Williams is an anointed man of God who believes in the manifestation of the Holy Spirit and rejoices in witnessing miracles for the glory of God.
He has been married to Delores for 39 years, and together they have three children: Sheldon Williams, Ramona Williams and Devon. Jr. Williams. Sheldon has been deceased since the year 2010. May his soul rest in peace.
